Welcome to Panorama Community Health And Wellness Center

Panorama Community Health and Wellness Center (PCHWC) will strengthen the Guthrie County community through programs, services and facilities.  PCHWC promotes personal development, healthy lifestyles, encourages community involvement, and provides facilities for the community’s youth sports programs.

The purpose of the Panorama Community Health and Wellness Center is to provide facilities for the residents of Guthrie County to engage in recreational, social, community service, and civic activities.  The Center will provide opportunities for persons of all ages to participate in a wide range of programs that educate, enhance self-confidence, and promote mental and physical health.

Our financial data and research is from 20 years of effort by county residents and recreation centers operating in the area. Our model focused on Greenfield and Anita’s recreation centers which operate as successful 501(c)3 businesses.

The plan is to acquire the Cargill egg plant in Panora. The 30-year-old building needs to be renovated to transform it from a factory to a recreational facility.  The cost is estimated close to $1,000,000.

The renovation will include:
3 courts for basketball, volleyball, soccer and pickle ball
An elevated walking track
Mirrored rooms for aerobics, dance and health classes
Areas for cardio, weight lifting, batting and golf cages

This project requires county wide support. Let’s make it a reality for the health and well-being of our current and future residents.
